Peer Pressure

Peer Pressure is a pipe made from a tire pressure gauge. Knection gutted the tire pressure gauge leaving just the tiny bowl on the end and the stem. This pipe is relatively small, its for either a one hitter quitter, or for one person. It is extremely stealthy, and easy to hide. The one issue that I found with it was it smelt like burning plastic and had the slight flavor of it, after we had smoked about four bowls out of it. I plan on finding a metal tire pressure gauge to remake this pipe. I think if we were to use a better gauge it would be a longer lasting sneak-a-pipe. I will repost on this blog as soon as we find a metal tire gauge. For now toodles all and look forward to my post on real salvia D. I am about to go smoke it for the first time, I may record Knections reaction for shits and giggles.

Pinocchio Pipe

Pinocchio is the perfected version of a pipe Knection had made called Skully. He is made from some Halloween decorations we had, the stem for the bubblers, and the stock for my purple passion pipe. After many trial and errors he was perfected by adding the stem instead of just a bowl. The issue we had with using a bowl was that it would get too hot and melt the plastic skull. The stock enhances the amount of smoke you can pull through this pipe, but you don't have to add it. We smoked it both ways, but to avoid singed eyelashes we added the stock.
Pinocchio hits at about a 4 or 5 on a scale of 1-10. He is a light hitter, mostly because of his small size. Although the smoke swirling through the skull itself is all worth the lower hitting factor. He can't really be used continually because he begins to turn black, or the plastic gets weak and cracks. Plus his toothy grin makes me smile. This pipe is also easy to conceal, just throw it back on the light strand it came from . Alright that's all for today folks keep blazing and toodles all.

Tobacco High

So I came across a video on youtube the other night. Now we all remember the first time we inhaled a cigarette, how it made you high for at least 15-30 minutes depending on how much of the cigarette you smoked. Well according to this guy you can hum while exhaling to create a lasting tobacco high. Now the issue I have with this is I don't smoke tobacco, like at all. I might have the occasional drag when I have either been smoking or drinking, but on general I stay far away from cigarettes and their evil spinning head highs. I truly dislike the high I experience when smoking tobacco, although many people enjoy it a great deal. So for their sake I have posted this to let old time smokers know how to still get that first cigarette high every time you smoke. Be warned don't do this in public you might look like a tool, but you will get high. Just watch the video for instructions. You can tell by the look on this guys face that he is indeed high after he finishes.
I put this to the test to see if it did indeed work, by purchasing a pack of cigarettes for my roommates to test this out on. They smoke on a daily basis at least 5-9 cigarettes a day depending on stress, and or social situations. I let Twitch try it first after the first long exhale he proclaimed excitedly that he was light headed. Knection was excited to try it and followed suit. He also felt the light headedness that Twitch was explaining. We tried it several more times with 3 more cigarettes allowing time between each one to come down off the tobacco high. It took them anywhere from 30-50 minutes to come down completely. Each time they experienced the same high. So this method does indeed work. I hope I have helped anyone who is in a dry spell or just enjoys smoking tobacco. Keeping smoking and toodles all.

Mighty Joe Bong

Mighty Joe Bong is the biggest homemade bong we own. I call him our party bong. He can  accommodate up to 8 people (at least that's how many we have smoked with at one time). He hits at about an 11 on the scale of 1-10. Knection claims it is one of the hardest hitting single chambered bong he has used. Mighty Joe stands at 6 feet tall with all three extensions.  The picture to the left is with two of the 2 foot extensions and a McDonald's cup to enhance the hitting power. I prefer to use just the 2 foot single extension for smaller party's mainly because it takes someone with super lungs just to light this bong. I will have to get video of what it takes to light this bong when we purchase a new stem (ours exploded in Vegas).
Knection built this bong at the age of 16 out of his mother's broken humming bird feeder and some plastic tubing. It takes up to three people just to smoke out of this bong:
1. To light it with duel lighters
2. To hold the duel carbs on the plastic tubing
3. To take the rip and start the bowl.

After the bong is lit and started you can continue a bowl for at least 6-7 people hitting it twice, the eighth person usually caches the bowl on there second hit, or clears the chamber. We usually seal the base to the tubing with either wax or tape depending on what we have handy. If you don't seal it, it will leak. We always have a towel handy for leaks or spills, with a bong this size in my tiny apartment it will get knocked over at least twice.
We have also used the tubing for no touch shotgunning, and to give Chilli an extra buzz. She sticks her nose in one end and we blow in the other.
The biggest issue we seem to have with this bong is storage. It does come apart but in a tiny apartment with no storage space it tends to get knocked around a lot. It withstands some crazy shit though. I have tripped over it the day after and didn't even pop the tube off the base. Chilli has even drug it out from under the bed before trying to let us know that she would love to use Mighty Joe.

The MacGyver Smoker

I will be adding a new section to my blog. I have recently become acquainted with what is known as a Macgyver Smoker. This man who I will call Knection can make a pipe or bong out of almost anything. Every time he makes a new smoking device I will post how he made it so that those at home who love smoking out of fun new things can follow along.

Today's pipe is called the Venom Pipe. It is made from a Venom Energy drink. As you can see we added some extra pieces from some of the other pipes we had laying around. We used the bowl from my amazing purple pipe and used the tubes for my long gone mini hookah. Two people can hit off this pipe at once, it doesn't hit as hard like that, but its still fun to have a truly social toke. When the secondary tube is used as a carb the pipe hits at about a 7 on a scale from 1-10. The first 3 hits tasted like the energy drink so it gave what we were smoking a fun and tangy flavor. I preffered hitting this pipe without the hookah tubes connected it hit at least 1 point higher, but there is always the danger of burnt eyelashes or eyebrows. Because this pipe is made out of metal it does heat up a little, we melted some plastic after we set it down to cool, but 6 people were smoking out of this pipe. If you don't have a bowl you can use you can make one out of tin foil, this is not recommended though. I myself don't like smoking out of tin foil. The best pipe you can buy is one you can take apart if you like creating new and improved pipes.

Hookah is amazing

So I started smoking Hookah, like as in real hookah not spice in a mini hookah. My favorite Lesbians purchased their very first hookah on Thursday, we purchased three different types of flavors, which I will be rating under the new label Hookah (Yay). So if you have any suggestions for amazing flavors don't be shy and leave me some comments. Oh and keep an eye out for the upcoming flavors Rainbow (of course taste the rainbow, smoke the rainbow) BTW kids do not smoke skittles!!!! And the flavor Raspberry Limeade, and Mango.
In later news Kamakazi is adjusting well to his incarciration, and is keeping his spirits high. Everybody misses him lots. His court case went well they dropped all but one charge for meth :-(  but its better than getting charged for all 9 charges.

Kamakazi

So this month my best friend got taken away and locked up, because according to the Utah government he is an evil criminal. He is on probation just like me, but not bench probation. He is being charged with 9 different counts including owning pornography and a firearm (slingshot). He is looking at hard time in prison. For those who know Kamakazi they know he is the sweetest person on the planet and will do anything to help anyone even people he doesn't know. He doesn't deserve to be thrown in prison with real criminals. The Utah judicial system is going to turn this amazing person into a hardened criminal. I just pray that my fellow juggalos will help keep him from stabbing someone for attempting to butt rape him. Lucky for him though there is a juggalo chapter in what they call north set, so he won't be forced to join an Aryan gang. When he was arrested he refused to give names of people he bought from or smoked with, so they said he was being uncooperative, when he asked for a lawyer they threw him in the holding cell and refused him his rights as a citizen of the United states. People say how can they do that? Well Beaver (the small town I live in) feels that they can make their own rules. Now technically if we had a lawyer, we could fight this but since I work as a burger flipper at Wendys that is just not going to happen. So until he gets out I will be refraining from smoking anything illegal, but if I can afford it I will continue my spice reviews. Siberian Motherwort aka Leonurus Sibiricus

Commonly known as Honeyweed. Alkaloids isolated from the plant include:
Stachydrine 

• Cycloleonurinine
• Leoheterin
• Leonurine
• Leonurinine
• Leuronurine
• Prehispanolone 
• Preleoheterin

I first heard about this herb while googling information on spice. I have owned an ounce of this herb for about four months or more, but I just had not gotten to actually trying it. So the other night I was chilling with my two favorite lesbians and their couch dweller. We were sitting around reminiscing on the old days when smoking pot was not such a big deal. We started wishing that we had something, well anything to smoke that had a marijuana like high. I remembered reading that this herb was an inebriant and users had experienced a marijuana like high. It contains some of the same alkaloids that are found in pot, but in lower doses. We loaded up my purple pipe and passed it around till it was burnt. I felt a slight head high, but it was more like the endorphin just from inhaling some form of smoke. The couch dweller who has a very low tolerance for smoke-able fun said he felt high. Neither of the two lesbians said they felt any different than smoking a cigarette. I am sure if I extract the alkaloids from this herb it would give us a marijuana like high, but when smoked alone there are just not enough alkaloids to cause more than just a light head. The herb does mix well with most other herbs, but when smoked alone it doesn't taste all that awesome. Anyway, we are going to blaze one something real tonight, so happy blazes and toodles all.

Motion Sickness Pills

So I was hanging out with my good friend Kamakazi thinking of ways to get high, I was going through my first aid kit and the only thing we could find was aspirin and motion sickness pills. Kamakazi remembered hearing that if you took a bunch of them you felt like you were melting through the floor. He couldn't remember for sure if it was motion sickness pills that did this or not. So we went on an adventure to the one guy in the neighborhood who might know. Unfortunatly he had heard no such thing about this.So we headed back home to google it. Erowid Experience, had some very good information on it such as dosage, and the effects of taking a bunch of these pills. So after reading up on it, and ignoring all the warning that others had posted, I had Kamakazi take 10. 

After about 30 minutes and nothing was happening he took 10 more. Within 5 to 10 minutes he started to feel a tingling sensation in his legs and head. He says the pills made him extremely tired and sick to his stomach. After another 15 to 20 minutes he started to feel high, but it was an extremely tired high. He said it was not an enjoyable high because he was too tired to enjoy it. We went over to a friends house for about 30 minutes and had to head home, because he was just not feeling good anymore. When we got home I made him the bed in my hide-a-bed love seat and he crashed within 10 minutes.

I was curious to see if the reason he was not feeling good was the time period between the two doses. I pulled out 20 pills and choked them down. The taste like crushed up Ibuprofen. I almost threw up just trying to swallow the pills. I waited for about 20 mins and started to get so tired I just couldn't keep my eyes open. I rolled over and fell asleep for about an hour. I woke up to a tingling sensation in my legs and head. I got up to find something to drink, and almost fell flat on my face. All the blood rushed to my head, I could see dancing neon lights everywhere even though all the lights were off in the house. I could barely walk let alone find the toilet. My stomach felt like I had eaten bad meat. I felt like I needed to throw up, but I couldn't. Through out the night I kept waking up to either my legs twitching or my head swimming so bad it felt like I was falling. I honestly did not like this high. The next day I woke up and my head was still kind of swimming. It felt like I had a hangover. Kamakazi agreed that it was almost like having a hangover. I will never do this drug again, no matter how bad I want to get high. It was a terrible high. I feel like some of my brain cells are fried.

Black Mamba Herbal Incense

As my re-entry into the wonderful world of herbs and their effects, I decided to order myself a 4 gram canister of Black Mamba original Herbal incense. I searched the web for a good price and found it at Tobacco General.
I ordered it on Thursday the 23 and it arrived on Monday the 27. They shipped it extremely fast and it was bigger than I expected. I felt that their shipping was a little high, but for the amount that was shipped it was a great deal. Back before all the propaganda about how evil spice was a 4 gram container cost anywhere from $25 to $30 dollars, I payed $18 total for my Black Mamba. On the container itself there is a sticker stating that this product was lab tested and did not contain any DEA banned substances, or anything that is illegal. I admit I was a little worried that maybe it would just be Damania, but as everyone knows, Mamba never disappoints. I smoked this blend with my good and new friend Kamakazi. We decided to cook up some dinner and blaze up. We first started smoking it in my awesome purple pipe. I would rate my first hit at about a 6 or 7. It was extremely harsh the first four or five hits. I started to feel the effects of the blend within the first three hits. I was not completely "spiced" but I had a nice buzz going on. Kamakazi was good after the first hit. He hasn't smoked as many herbal incenses as I have, so his tolerance is considerably lower. After dinner we decided to load up my awesome mini bong. We smoked about three bowls throughout the rest of the night. The one thing both of us agree on is this blend gives you some major cotton mouth, so keep not only a fridge full of munchies around but make sure you have a bottle of water as well. We played video games and just talked it was an awesome vegetating  blend. We both  enjoyed this blend very much and plan on finishing the the 3 grams I have left with a veg day. I recommend this blend because its safe. Its lab tested and made by a big name brand company so you know its not amateur chemists making it.

I'm Back

I have had too much interest in my blog to ignore, that people do indeed read it and use it for reference. Since I no longer have to worry about losing my job if I smoke weird things, I am coming back to it. I will not only be testing the name brand herbal incenses, but herbs as well. I have a wonderful support group standing behind me, and a few new lab rats. I am still on probation, so don't expect anything illegal to show up here, but do keep an eye out for the upcoming Black Mamba review. Early Retirement

Well folks, this is the end of my Up in Smoke blog, yes there are still lots of blends out there that need to be reviewed, but on Sunday night, 3-20-11, I tried a blend called Capt. Good Times, and I ODed. I spent the night in the hospital fighting for my sanity and my life. I was hallucinating, and in hysterias. I am lucky the police out here saw how scared I was, and decided I had learned my lesson. I will not be doing even herbs. I have quit smoking everything, at least till I am off probation, then I plan on moving to NV and getting a green card.
 A few days later I came up positive for meth. I don't like saying bad things about anyone for any reason, but I warn against purchasing spice on the internet, unless you trust your internet spice provider. In all truth the maker of any spice could put absolutely anything in their stuff. I found that out the hard way.
My views have been changed, I am undergoing rehab, and some major therapy. Spice is addictive, I have been experiencing withdrawals, and have lost weight and sleep since I stopped smoking spice. Spice is not a natural herbal smoke, I am still all for legalizing Cannabis, but I am no longer for man made highs. It kinda sucks though, because I had just barely ordered more of my favorite Thunderphuk incense.
Eventually I will find something else to write about, but for now I have not smoked any spice since 3-20-11. Lets see how long I can stay clean. For now I am doing fine though, and remember potheads, no matter how hard you try you can't OD on weed.

Red Bag X Herbal Incense

I found this blend on ebay, RedBagInc has this blend for sale, for around $15.00 for 3 grams. They shipped extremely quickly, I was very happy about that. This blend has a very strong aroma, its list of ingredients include Damiana. Now the thing I absolutely love about this blend is it states:
"Does not contain JWH-018, JWH-073, CP-47, or cannabicyclonexanol."
Meaning there are no DEA banned chemicals used in this blend. This blend is 100% legal, now don't get scared away just because its legal, this blend still packs a good punch. I will be honest I was skeptical at first about this blend, I wasn't sure if I was actually getting my definition of herbal incense.
 I first tried this blend in my purple pipe. I would rate my initial hit to be about a 5 or 6. This blend has a very robust flavor, it smokes extremely well. I don't think this blend is just damiana, it smokes smoother than damiana. It took me about three hits to start feeling that familiar melting feeling. I felt light and happy. This is an extremely relaxing blend, its not too strong, but its not weak either. I really enjoyed smoking this blend. I would suggest anyone who likes to just kick back and relax to try this blend. It also smokes great in a bong, but a joint was almost too harsh for my tastes.
Overall I would rate this herb at a 4, 1 being the weakest, and 10 being the strongest. I usually prefer to smoke incense at about a 5 in the scale, and I don't like going over an 8, after 8 it's just too strong for me.

Apple Thunder(phuk)

This is one of the flavor variations of Thunderphuk by Sampsonoodle on ebay. I was honestly going to add this entry to the main Thunderphuk post, but after I tried it, I decided this one needed a post all to itself.
When you order Thunderphuk, you can ask for certain flavors, or if you don't specify they will send you what ever they have in stock. I am not sure what other flavors they have, and if they are anything like Apple Thunder (as I call it). I decided to try this blend for the first time in my bong, because a bong makes everything smell good. This blend not only smells like apples, but taste like apples too. I would rate my initial hit at about a 4 or 5, it wasn't very harsh compared to the other Thunderphuk I had tried. When I exhaled I could taste the apple. Now the main reason I am giving this blend its own post, is because of how strong it is. I smoked about half a bowl, and then it hit me. It came on like a rolling tide, setting everything the whole world, into almost like an electric shock. I could feel any emotion I was having not only where ever it is that emotions feel, but in my toes and stomach too. It would start in my toes and make its way up through my body, it was like I was feeling the most intense emotion I had ever felt. I will be honest the first time I tried it, it scared the hell out of me. I thought I had taken too much. I had no way of understanding what I was feeling, because I had never felt anything like it. The next day a friend of mine came over and I mentioned what I had experienced to her, and she said it sounded almost like a meth trip. So I loaded another bowl and had her smoke some. She loved the apple flavor, and loved the way it hit. She felt it was almost too strong. She did confirm that the high she experienced was nothing like meth, so I have nothing to be worried about from that. I am against drugs that are associated with major dependency problems. After she came down all the way, we decided it was safe enough for both of us to try it this time to see if it hit just as hard each and every time. She loaded my purple pipe up with about three hits worth, she was the smart one, she knew it was a new drug so she did not try a whole freakin bowl, with this stuff you don't need a whole bowl. After smoking, we both experienced the exact same type of high we had the first time we tried this blend. I myself don't like being that high, I would have to call this blend Sampson's Private Reserve, because it was so strong. This blend is not for your everyday smoker, this blend is for special occasions. My friend said she felt like she was smoking Chronic. This is the strongest Spice I have ever smoked. I have dubbed this blend Apple Thunder, because I feel that it would make an awesome name for it. So Last night I tried this blend again, to see if under a different setting this blend could be good. I was right, its the perfect herb for a nice quiet evening at home. I suggest watching the new Alice in Wonderland movie while smoking this blend.

Fat Sax Herbal Incense

I found this herbal blend while window shopping ebay, I liked the name so I decided to try it. This is a fairly new Ebay seller, so their prices are very reasonable. herbalfantasies have given me permission to add their seller ID link, so that anyone who was interested in trying any of their blends can find them. http://www.str8fire.net/ This is their website, where you can find more great deals on their products.
I have smoked about 2 grams worth of this blend, because I honestly like it, it's not too hard on my lungs, and it hits really well. I would rate my initial hit at about a 4. Now just to let those who read this know, I have a cold so my lungs are more sensitive than usual. This blend did not irritate my cold symptoms at all. This blend is not as strong as some of the others I have tried, this blend has the perfect amount of potency. I started feeling the effects of the herb within my first two hits. I did get the munchies, but did not get horny. I would rate this blend at about a 5 for quality, and and overall good smoking experience. This blend has a flavor, I will just call original flavor, it has a very sweet smell to it, and its not overpowering by any means. I couldn't taste the artificial flavors added to this blend at all, but it smelt amazing as it burned. In my opinion this is a great blend for the casual smoker, or first time spice smoker. It's not too potent, and it has a good flavor when smoked. I am finding most first time spice smokers are scared away from spice, because they get too high a potency.

As you can see from the picture, this blend has a few sticks, but you can smoke them just the same, it doesn't ruin the flavor any. You can also pick them out if you are a picky person, it won't change the quality of this blend any.

Frontal Lobe Spice

I purchased this blend from oddballstudio on ebay about a month and a half ago, but I had misplaced it in the black hole a.k.a my room. So the other day I happened upon it, and loaded myself a bowl. As you can see from the picture, it has too many sticks to roll a joint, and I am really into my bong, so I have been smoking everything in it. To me this blend smells like it has motherwort in it, now it could be Siberian Motherwort, because according to google Siberian Motherwort will give a user a euphoric high much like cannabis. It's on the legislation to be banned, so this makes me kinda optimistic, since I have never tried Siberian Motherwort, I have tried regular Motherwort, and personally I think it tasted terrible. It smelt bad being burnt and gave me a headache. This blend could have turned out awesome, or horrible. Alright so I loaded myself a big ole bowl and took my first hit. It must just be regular motherwort it tasted the exact same, and hit almost the same. I would rate that initial hit at about a 5, the only thing that made me cough was the taste, the smoke was not that harsh. After about half a bowl and nothing was happening, I decided to scrap the bowl and save my poor lungs from any more abuse. I honestly did not like this blend, it had too much motherwort in it. I am now looking for some siberian motherwort, that way I can see if what they say is true. It should be here in time for the weekend. If you like motherwort this is a great blend, but I personaly did not like it. The only head change or change in anything I got was a headache.

Lavender Flowers

Lavender is an easy to get a hold of herb. I found mine on ebay, but you can find Lavender everywhere. Flower shops, craft stores, smoke shops, its everywhere and cheap too. Alright so the reason I am smoking this herb, is because I love the smell of Lavender, its relaxing and doesn't bother my skin. Oh and because its purple. Alright so this is not the first time I tried lavender, I added it to some motherwort once, because motherwort tastes terrible. But today I am going to smoke lavender all by itself. 
Now I have not been keeping up on my checklist, I apologize for that, but I am as of this blog commiting to always or at least almost always remember to fill out my checklist. So here it is for Lavender:

Mini Hookah 

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst, how bad did it burn when you took the initial hit?

 4, this is not a very harsh herb, in fact its rather enjoyable. It's sweet to the taste buds and soft on the lungs. To me though it feels too sweet, so I would love it to be mixed with something

Clove Mamba

I have been honestly saving this gram of Mamba spice for last, because I don't like the flavor of cloves. They make my throat go numb, and leave a bad taste in my mouth. Now my brother loves cloves, because of that numbing effect, he says it numbs the bad taste out and he can taste the flavor of whatever he is smoking ten times better. Alright so to try to avoid the flavor I am using my mini hookah, because the water helps filter out some of the flavor. I honestly don't even like how this one smells when it burns, to me it smells like grandma's kitchen, clove and old person. My first hit I would rate at about a 4, I could feel the cloves numbing my throat and lungs, and the horrid flavor of the clove itself was burning on my tongue. Now it took me a good 3-4 hits before I even started to feel the effects of the incense I was too concerned about the numbing effects of the cloves. To me this is a very weak blend, it did not last as long as some of the other mamba's, and it did not hit as hard either. I myself did not like this blend, and I will not be trying it again, in fact I probably won't even smoke the whole gram. I feel that it has too much cloves in it, if they had not added so much I think this blend could be enjoyable, perhaps with the right mixture of herbs cloves could be awesome. I suppose I will look into clove mixtures, that way I can at least say I tried.
If you know any way that can make cloves enjoyable, or if you know of a good herbal mixture featuring cloves, I would love to hear about it, and even give it a try.

Thunderphuk Chronic Herbal Incense

 So during my recent ebay discovery of herbal incenses, I thought they didn't sell them on there, turns out I just wasn't looking hard enough. After I ordered a few different types I stumbled across Thunderphuk, I liked the name, because I could word play it and say "I'm gonna get Thunderphuked!" You can usually find this blend on ebay, just look for sampsonoodle.
 Now I wondered if this blend was actually going to do something so amazing to have a state of mind named after it...I was right. Smoking this blend is not like smoking traditional spice, for one it smells amazing, its got a sickly almost skunky sweet smell to it. Most spices are made just from Damania, because its a good smoke by itself, and it covers well when you are mixing in the special ingredients. I couldn't tell for sure if it's main herb was mullein leaf or mugwort, it had a clingy consistency to it much like mullein, and it hits hard. I would rate my first hit at an 8, it was a refreshing burn to that of say mullein leaf by itself, it didn't just burn it burned and then began to thunderphuk me like I had never been phuked before. This is a hard hitting, fast acting blend. And the flavor, its not like the hubba bubba bubblegum, but skunkier

 I used a bong, a pipe just doesn't do justice to the flavor, and that first hit will probably kill you out of a pipe. I had almost rolled this one into a joint, but I wanted to break in my new bong. I would highly recommend if you like a good herbal blend, and also like the effects of spice, to try this herb. Oh and if you mention me, I will get free samples sent to me, so don't forget to mention this blog. I would also suggest you smoke this herb in a water pipe of some sort or a vaporizer. I absolutely love this blend, it does not lose its potency like some of the herbal spices either. At one point during my evening I almost forgot I wasn't smoking cannabis. This blend is the closest blend I have found to the flavor and proper potency.

Sky Scraper Legal Bud

I have been trying to purchase this flavor of LB for a good month and a half now, but oddballstudio573 only had this one for sale at an auction and I kept losing, but as you can see I finally won the bid.

This bud smelt like weeds, not marijuana weed, but like summer weeds. I myself like this smell, it reminds me of a simpler time, a time when I could just sit in the weeds and look at the sky, and not worry about being late for something. I decided not to roll this herb, but smoke it in my purple pipe.


 This LB was stronger than any of the other ones I had smoked. I would rate this bud at an 8, it was really harsh, it hurt my lungs more than my throat, but I actually coughed while smoking this bud. I didn't like this LB, I didn't even finish the bowel. I didn't feel any effects of this herb besides a headache from coughing. Smoking this herb was like smoking some really harsh tobacco, I love the LB products, but this one I am going to just have to pass up, I myself do not like my smoking products that harsh.

I myself can't find any more of this blend, but I am sure it's out there. This is a very "exotic" and fruity blend I personal love this blend. It smells like gum, not the nasty pink bubblegum, but fruity like Hubba Bubba gum. Just smelling this blend takes me back to the good ole days when we would chew a piece of Watermelon flavored Hubba Bubba gum then while the flavor beads are still causing mini orgasms in our mouths we would hit the bong to create this amazing flavor that our dirt weed could never possess by itself.
I loaded my mini hookah, and took my first hit of Bahama Mamba:
I would rate this blend at about a 5, this blend actually made me cough. Chille loves the way this herb smells too, she won't keep her nose out of the bowl of the hookah, and keeps trying to eat the little holder. I started to feel the effects of this herb at about the 5th hit, I didn't hit me as hard as the Mango Mamba did, it just sort of rolled over me. I could feel all the blood in my body start to just slow down and heat up. This herb can even make the news funny, This herb kept a good rolling high for at least 2 hours. this herb does cause the munchies and red eye. Well it was long enough to watch 4 cartoons and make some food for dinner. I enjoyed this herb and wish I could find more of it, so I will keep looking and post if I can find any.

Wild Lettuce

So this herb is said to have the same effects or similar effects as Opium. Even though this herb contains no opiates. Most sleep aiding blends contain this herb. Its uses include sleep aids, relaxants, or just to make you feel good. There is an extract you can make with this herb, I will be looking into it of course, but for now the effects of smoking this herb on it's own will suffice. You can also add the oils that are made from this plant to tea to help induce sleep as well.

I ordered my Lopium from ebay but you can find yours at The Herbal Smoke Cafe. My first impression of this herb was horse hay. It smelt very similar to freshly bailed hay. It has a very pleasing aroma, well to me anyway. I first attempted to load my purple pipe, but the herb doesn't burn like some herbs, it plugged up my pipe whithin the first hit, I couldn't smoke it in a pipe. So I pulled out the old trusty roller. Ok so with the joint, I could actually get a real hit. My first hit burned at about a 5. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't all that good either. If you have ever smelt burning weeds, like when they do controled burns to get rid of the dead weeds, that's what this herb smelt like when it burned. I liked it, but chille didn't think it was all that awesome. Within three hits I started to feel very relaxed, not high but just relaxed. I was completely content to just watch the joint burn, something I noticed while I watched it burn, is this herb burns weird like blue, and it tip of my joint looked like someone stuck a mini firecracker in it.

 Chille was already sleeping next to me, so it is a good sleep aid. After about an hour, I started to feel the effects slow wear off. So It was off to bed while I still felt tired. There was no red eye associated with smoking this herb, I was not hungry or horny. I was just tired and relaxed. I highly suggest this herb to anyone who has trouble relaxing, or who just wants to relax with a great smelling smoke. I will be smoking this herb more often and even mixing it with some other herbs to enjoy more of its benefits.

Yellow Brick Road Incense

 I know they are both the same pic, but the one with the light looks cool, but you can't see the color of the blend, so I put both.

So as I am searching the internet to find more of this spice, I am finding no one sells this blend! There was a question about someone purchasing this blend, and thinking it was K2 spice, so I went to the K2 website to see if K2 makes this blend.

According to  this website, they sell K2 in bulk and you can rebrand it, meaning you can call it whatever the hell you want. So this blend may very well be K2, but to know for sure I will have to smoke a bunch of the K2 flavors.

So I like to smell the blends to try to figure out what is in it. I can smell damania, it has a dirty feet sweet smell, I don't know any other way to explain how it smells unless you just get some and take a sniff. I can also smell a fresh minty smell too, so there must be some mint leaf added to the mix. I like smoking the incense blends in my mini hookah, because it tastes better that way. My First hit I would rate at about a 4, I could feel the cooling effects of the mint as well as the sweet flavor of the damania. I started to feel the effects of the herb within two hits. The first hit was the euphoric head change, but the second hit gave me a buzz. I felt relaxed and happy. Third hit gave me that melted butter feeling. I was spiced for about 3 hours while I watched a movie, then I got the munchies, so this is a long lasting smoking blend. My eyes were bloodshot red, and I had the giggles. this herb gave me a very pleasant high. I liked this blend a lot, and I plan on smoking it till I run out of it. If I find out whether this blend is a rebrand, I will be sure to post about it. Alright well I have to go get ready for work, so keep blazing and toodles all.

Skullcap

 The general use for skullcap is to promote sleep, and it is a mild sedative. I will by trying this herb tonight, because I have to wake up at 6am for work tomorrow, and I don't even get off work till 11 pm. There are also some noted uses of this herb in the study of cancer, you can read up more on this at the wiki link above, if that sort of stuff interests you. At one point in time, this herb was thought to help cure hydrophobia aka rabies.

 I personally am only interested in if this herb is going to help me sleep tonight. I purchased this herb on ebay, but you can find it at The Herbal Smoke Cafe.

Alright so my first impression of this herb is grass, not the good kind but like the crap you pull out of your lawnmower. It smells like cooking herbs to me, I loaded my awesome purple pipe and took my first hit of skullcap:

My first hit was kind of mild, I would rate the first hit at about a 4, but my second hit burned at about a 6. I felt an overall sense of wellbeing, kind of like when you take half a loratab, I just felt dopey, but not tired. The effects of this herb don't amplify the more you smoke, they just kinda stay at the same level of dopiness, till either you fall asleep, or it wears off in about an hour. Now if you are using this herb as a sleep promoter, I would suggest that you smoke it lightly till you fall asleep, I preferred the my my mini hookah for this. The hookah tones down the harshness and gives it a different flavor, not by much but enough to make it tolerable. I would probably suggest mixing this herb with like lavender flower, or something mellow for an intensified state of tranquility. I will be mixing this herb around to find a good combination, so I will be trying this herb again. Mango Mamba

 This incense blend has some flavor added to it to make it especially yummy. I think it smells awesome, but taste like crap.

As you can see this blend has a very distinct color, well it is flavored. Now many consumers are saying I'm not going to smoke that its not a natural color, well let me ask you this:
Have you ever used the Juicy Jays drops to add extra flavor to anything you have ever smoked?
what is the difference? for all I know the flavoring in this blend IS Juicy Jays, now don't quote me on that, because I honestly have no idea that was merely a speculation.
Alright this herb does smell like a little cup of mango-e goodness. I myself do not even like mangos so this
is really trying something new for me. I loaded my awesome new mini Hookah and took my first hit:

It wasn't harsh at all it felt more like a smooth piece of gooey mango had slid down my wind pipe, and nestled itself into my lungs like it owned the place. I released and immediately started to feel a head change. I would rate my first hit at a 2, even though the aftertaste of mango was not in my opinion all that awesome. But again I don't even like mango, so maybe to someone else who likes mango this could be a very yummy blend. Ok as I continued to smoke this herb, three hits along I am thinking to myself well this is a crappy head change, not because the head change was light, but because it was not as heavy as I am used to for spice. So I took another big hit and then the mango hit me. I must have smoked too much or something because that was almost the worst spice trip I have ever been on. I couldn't stop shaking, I couldn't focus on anything at all, I was hot then cold and couldn't find a comfortable medium. I started to hallucinate. I could see the carpet moving and it was freaking me out, because the earth is not supposed to move like that.. So after about 15 minutes of this I said screw this and started eating, not because I had the munchies, but because I know the easiest way to sober up is to eat something.

After I had eaten a few things I was able to bring the high back to a tolerable state. In this state things were really fluttery and just mellow. I could look at something beautiful for almost 20 minutes without blinking. This high lasted about an hour, before it started to wear off and I started to get a headache.

So all together the entire high off Mango Mamba lasted 2 hours. I'm pretty sure my eyes were really red, because someone asked if I had been crying. I myself would suggest this herb in moderation to anyone who likes mango. I myself will not be trying this herb again, because I do not like mango.

Panama Gold Legal Bud

I ordered my very first gram of Panama Gold off ebay from oddballstudio573. They shipped my item within the week, even though I took this long to actually try it, I was a little excited about all the new spice I had purchased. Alright so my first hit I would rate a 4, it was a very smooth toke, and didn't burn too much the first hit, the second hit however did burn and I would rate the second hit a 6. I started feeling the effects of this herb within 3 hits. I had a very calm sense of well being. I was not high, but I was feeling good. My eyes were not red. I did not get the munchies from this herb, and I did not get horny. My mum liked the smell of this herb, and it was an overall good experience. I would suggest anyone to try this herb who likes a good mellowing smoke. I enjoyed smoking this herb and will probably finish off the rest of my lil baggie. I will probably have others things to smoke so this is not a must smoke again, but still a fairly good smoking experience. Crystal Incense

I'm going to skip the formal introduction for this herbal blend, All I'm going to say is, this is a VERY enlightening smoke.
Ok I rolled myself a quick joint and stepped outside and started smoking this herb at 2:04. My initial hit I would rate at about 4 or 5, This is a very smooth smoke, but reminds me of smoking tobacco. I start to feel the effects almost immediately as in 4 tokes. This herb will give you the munchies and can turn you on. At about an hour after "spicing", I starting to feel the the effects of the herbs start to wear off. Not much but the sheer speed of the herb dulled to a kind of relaxed state of being. This herb does cause the reddening of the eyes. This high lasted for almost over 2 hours off one joint.
I myself love spice, it's a smooth toke, and a very decent high. I would suggest anyone who wants to try it to try it, many say spice is immoral, because man made the synthetic cannabinoids, that are added to this "incense", but personally I don't mind that, I am not snorting it, or shooting it up, you can't smoke the crystals, because you will OD, and end up in the hospital. I love how this herb relaxes me, how I can come home from a stressful day and just smoke a little bit and experience a high so powerful it feels like nothing in the world matters, all that matters is in the room that you are in. You can't think about the big picture, because you are too busy thinking about how to rationalize the little picture.

After the initial high wore off I grabbed my cute new mini hookah, loaded a bowl and myself my mum and her boyfriend all hit it. My mum said it kicked her ass, her boyfriend said he felt buzzed, but that was all. The boyfriend liked the flavor of this herb, he said it reminded him of smoking cigarettes, smell and taste wise. To me though this herb tastes nothing like tobacco, it tastes like Damania, because that was the main herb used in this blend. It did however smell like tobacco on my clothes and breath.
 I have been asked not to mention where I purchased this spice, because in Utah, anything with synthetic cannabinoids are considered illegal to sell in head shops, but they were trying to get rid of the last bit of their previous order, and I don't mind it was a great price, especially compared to what I used to spend for a gram of spice.

Mullein Leaf

Now something funny about this plant, as a child I used to play with the leafs from this plant saying they were towels for small critters, or large bugs, because the leaves of this plant have a fuzzy hair on them that protects the leaves so my step mother would tell me. to the touch of a hand they feel soft and fuzzy like a towel, but if you touch them to your face or other areas with more tender skin it feels like sand paper.
This plant is a biennial plant, meaning that it takes two years for this plant to completely grow up and produce seeds/flowers. Now in my Mullein, it is the leaves, so the plant that was used could have only been a year old, I am unsure, I prefer to not get to know the things I burn. Now the main uses for this plant are topical astringents, emollients, and they help a great number of skin issues. This herb is also good for treating coughs, or other related problems. According to The Herbal Smoke Cafe, this is one of the smoothest smokes they offer. So I was expecting a nice mild smoking experience out of this herb. Now there are no known effects of this herb that will give you a euphoric high of any sort, so why am I smoking this herb? Because all of my different smokes have fucked with my lungs, and if this herb is good for that, then hey this herb could be used even for our MM users. You can make a tea out of this herb, mix it with any of your favorite smoking herbs, or just smoke it alone to gain its benefits.
Effects of Smoking Mullein
Ok I didn't feel like rolling a joint, because I was pretty tired last night, so I packed the bowl of my favorite pipe, took a deep breath and took my first hit of Mullein.
I was surprised to find out Mullein is not a mild smoking experience in any way shape or form. My first hit almost choked me, I would rate this herb a 7! I was not expecting it to be as harsh so after I got done hacking my lungs out I took another hit. One thing I did notice was that as I coughed it did work as an expectorant, and the googies that I had been battling all week finally decided it was time to give me peace. I smoked the entire bowl, even though it made my lungs hurt. The next day however my lungs felt awesome. I could breath like I haven't breathed in a while, and I haven't hacked up any googies today. In fact I have coughed, but nothing like I had been, its a light dry cough. It felt almost like the only reason I was coughing was a force of habit. I do suggest that if you are having any issues with googies, or your lungs to give this herb a try. I think the burning I felt was it's way of doing a clean sweep on my lungs, so who knows maybe my tolerance has gone down, and I will have better smoking experiences thanks to Mullein leaf. I guess I will let everyone know tomorrow after I smoke the Panama Gold Legal bud I got this morning.

BlueBerry Legal Bud

I purchased a gram of BlueBerry from oddballstudio573, now at first I was a little skeptical because it looked like horse crap, and smelt like Juicy Jays blue berry drops. I have no idea what is in this stuff, but according to IO it's not a blend its a hybrid, ok then lets toke it up:
I rolled myself a blueberry joint, and went to hide in the pool area at my work. (I know I shouldn't be blazing up at work, but hey I am a much nicer person when I have something to smoke, and I get OCD and clean a bunch of crap) So my first hit was really harsh, it made my eyes water and my lungs burn I would rate it an 8. I started to feel the effects of this herb within the first two hits, I started to feel warm all over like in my toes and crap. After about the third or fourth hit I was feeling really relaxed, my eyes were zoning, and I was just content to sit and stair at random things. Now I noticed that it felt like my brain was zoning in on things, like as in when you really concentrate on something, except without the headache of concentration. I didn't finish my joint, because I didn't have to I was feeling great after about 2/3rds of it. Oh and I don't have a roach clip, so I didn't feel like getting burnt fingers. It has now been almost 30 minutes and I am still feeling the effects of this herb. I have some mild cotton mouth, but I don't have the munchies too bad. I am not feeling horny at all, I am just feeling really relaxed and well content to just sit here and look at the mountains out the window. Now something that I have not done before is eye checks, I have been asked to check my eyes while feeling the effects of whatever herb I am smoking, so as to see if it they are bloodshot and pupil dilation. On this herb my eyes are white, no veins in them at all, and the pupils are dilated at a normal size for the light that is around.
coming up on 45 mins and still feeling the effects nice and strong, my throat has started to get the googies in it, so I am coughing a little bit, but nothing too serious. And I am starting to get the munchies, which is a bad thing cause there is nothing munchie like to eat here, haha.  Alright about 50 mins into the high, my head is clearing I am less aft to stare at one thing, but rather I am getting bored, my body still feels like warm water is running through it, but my munchies were not munchies at all it's just dinner time. Anyway I better get back to work, and perhaps make something for dinner. Keep Blazing and toodles all.

Black O smoking resin

Ok so if you read my blog you know, I hate resin, I despise it and if I can help it I try not to smoke it. Now I got sample of this stuff called Black O from IO, when I ordered that Black Widow, I have been procrastinating smoking it, but tonight I decided I better get it out of the way because oddballstudio573 told me they would be selling it soon. Ok so I first i asked my mum how I should smoke it, some people prefer to mix resins, or put them on the end of a joint or cigarette. She suggested I roll it in a ball and just smoke it in my pipe. I was unable to roll it in a ball because it accidentally got squished in my laptop bag, so I just scraped it on the side and smoked it that way. Now the tiny dab of this stuff I smoked lasted maybe 3 good hits, the first hit I took I wasn't sure I had hit it I would honestly rate it maybe a 2, I was really surprised about how smooth this smoke was, and it didn't boil like most resins it had a nice thick white smoke. I started getting a buzz after the first hit the second hit I started to notice that far away feeling like the whole world started to just zone away. Third hit I could hear my mum talking, like it was the only thing in the world, but I didn't care what she was saying, but her voice was just mesmerizing. I can just imagine music on this stuff. This high lasted about 15 minutes for three hits worth of gunk...Awesome! I am so ordering more of this!
 Ok so I think I am in love with this Black O, and I will give a few other resins a try, only because I was honestly surprised and pleased with this solid smoke. Anyway I'm going to see if I can scrap the last of the squished Black O from its little baggy, so keep blazin and toodles all.

Hops Buds

Hops are found in the Canabea family, meaning they are related to Cannibis (Oh Happy Day).

As most of us cultured people know hops are used in the making of beer, so what are the effects when you smoke it you ask? Well according to The Herbal Smoke Cafe http://www.herbalsmokecafe.com/loose-smoking-herbs.php

Effects of Smoking Hops Buds

Ok first thing I noticed when I opened my package, it smelt like dirty socks (yuck). My first thought was ew everything about beer just stinks. Ok so I am still going to give this herb a try even though my instincts generally tell me don't smoke anything that smells like a men's locker room. I loaded one bud into my lovely Purple Pipe, it was flaky to say the least I didnt want to crush it because I was afraid if I did it would pull through, and nothing is worse than having pipe poop in your mouth. My first hit was really harsh, not enough to make me cough but enough to make me exhale almost as fast as I inhaled I would rate it a 7. I started feeling the effects of this herb immediatly after the first hit. I felt dizzy and my face started to heat up. Much like when you start getting a buzz from drinking, but as I smoked more of this herb I began to feel relaxed with a hint of a headache. I did not get the munchies off this herb, in fact I didn't even want to look at food while smoking this herb. I did get a little horny, but nothing like Damania. I would say try this herb if you want to try something new, but it does not give you that melting butter sensation its illegal cousin is so well loved for. I will try crushing this herb just a little, but not too much and smoke it again, but I'm not sure if this herb will be repeat very often. I did wake up with a hangover the next day. I did not however have what I like to call ashtray mouth, like I get after smoking most herbs before bed. And this herb did not have a foul taste when I smoked it. It smelt the most like weed that I have smelt since smoking weed however, so be careful where you blaze up when smoking this herb.

Ok I ran a couple of buds through my herb grinder, and packed a bowl. It wasn't as harsh this way, and I started feeling the effects off the first hit. this time however it was a "clear head high", meaning I could feel the high, but I did not feel any head change. I played video games on this smoke, and it seemed to me to be more vivid than usual, so that was awesome, but other than the awesome visuals, and the slight head change whenever I took a hit, there was really nothing to smoking hops. They smell like dirty feet, and taste kinda sweet, but did not get me all that high.
